PORTERVILLE, Calif. — On Friday, the Porterville Police Department completed an eight-month long investigation into allegations of sexual assault, and took the suspect into custody.

Detectives found evidence and learned that the suspect, 26-year-old Josue Juan Martinez, had sexually victimized three juveniles, one boy and two girls, over the course of several years.

All three victims were 14 years old or younger at the time of the assaults.

Martinez delayed the investigation by fleeing to Texas.

Martinez was found in Porterville and was booked into the custody of the Tulare County Sheriff and is being held for $300,000 bail.
