Stallion Springs Police investigating after residents were held at gunpoint while suspects ransacked home

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Stallion Springs Police Department said it is investigating a home invasion robbery that happened on Tuesday.

According to officials, on February 18, at approximately 6 a.m. officers responded to the 17000 block of Carlisle Drive to investigate a home invasion robbery.

Police said an unknown person rang the front doorbell and when no one answered they moved to the rear of the residence.
A short time later, two suspects forced entry into the home through a sliding glass door.

Staillion Springs Police said, at the time, two elderly residents were inside but didn’t hear the suspects enter into the home. The residents were confronted by the two suspects. The suspects held the victims at gunpoint and ransacked the home for several minutes before leaving with property and valuables.

Officials said the suspects are described as two black men wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and dark clothing.

Police said a thorough canvas of the area for witnesses and video was conducted.
