BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A third suspect has been arrested in connection to the deadly stabbing near Foothill High School Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, they arrested and booked a 17-year-old female on suspicion of homicide. The female was arrested at 11:30 a.m. in the area of Vyn Drive and Azalea Avenue.
Two other people have been arrested in connection to the case.
On Wednesday, officials said 23-year-old Jason Cruz was arrested and booked into jail for homicide. He has been charged with first-degree murder and is due in court Friday for felony arraignment.
A 14-year-old male was also booked into Juvenile Hall for assault with a deadly weapon.
