Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

TEHACHAPI, Calif. — On April 19, at about 9:00 p.m., deputies assigned to the Tehachapi Substation conducted a traffic stop on the 14000 block of Tehachapi Blvd. on a silver-colored Saturn station wagon for a vehicle code violation.

During the traffic stop, deputies saw the front passenger was attempting to conceal a large clear bag containing suspected methamphetamine in his hands.

The total weight of the suspected drugs was approximately 8 ounces.

The driver, 51-year-old Kathryn Sadler, and the passenger, 40-year-old Bobby Finklea, were both arrested on felony charges and booked into the Central Receiving Facility.
