Warrant searches lead to the arrest of Bakersfield man for meth, heroin possession

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On Friday, Kern County Sheriff's Office deputies served search warrants on two properties in Bakersfield and ended up netting meth and heroin.

According to the KCSO, deputies served search warrants in the 400 block of Francis Street and the 3500 block of Grissom Street in Bakersfield. During the search, authorities found "267 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 5 grams of suspected heroin, indicia of drugs sales, and three stolen license plates."

Deputies arrested 49-year-old Rober Stafford of Bakersfield on multiple charges, including "possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of methamphetamine for sales, and maintaining a place/residence for drug sale."
