BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Throughout the month of January, Adventist Health Bakersfield is offering free childhood immunizations against vaccine-preventable diseases.

The next site is being held Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be at the Albertson's parking lot on Brundage and Chester.

The event is free for children under 18-years-old if they meet one of three criteria: they have no health insurance; they are enrolled in Medi-Cal; or are American-Indian or Native Alaskan.

And for children over 5-years-old an appointment is required.
