(KERO) — A new study shows that peanut allergies may be more common among adults than children. Researchers found 17-percent of American adults developed a peanut allergy after age 18.
They say more adults than kids are allergic even though it's generally been considered a pediatric issue.
Researchers also believe there are many adults that haven't been diagnosed since most adults tend to just avoid foods they have reactions to.
