BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Adventist Health Children’s Mobile Immunization Unit will be back open starting this Wednesday, April 15. The healthcare organization received the needed approval to reopen from the Kern County Public Health Department.

"We have seen a need for children to continue to get vaccinations during COVID-19 in our community," Adventist Health Communication Specialist Megan Simpson said.

There will be changes to the regular routine of the unit to ensure everyone is social distancing – including waiting in their cars until it’s their turn. Adventist asks that people who are wanting to attend a clinic to call ahead to hear more details: (661) 869-6740.
