At Mira Monte High School, employees have been working for ways to uplift students. Karen Stanier is the Food Service Supervisor and had the idea to add positive messages to lunch trays at school.
A group of students spent time coming up with happy notes to write on almost 1,000 trays.
Karen and her crew then handed them out. She said loved watching the looks on students' faces when they realized their trays had the extra addition.
"It was really nice and some of the kids, you could see them digging through, looking for different quotes," said Stanier.
