BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Madeline Abernathy, Central Valley director of the CA Young Republicans, drove to Phoenix for the Charlie Kirk memorial at State Farm Stadium. She got into line at 4 am and didn't leave until the celebration of life event ended around 5:30 pm. Then, she and a friend drove back to Bakersfield, arriving early Monday morning. She joined Mike Hart in Studio B at 6:30 am to talk about the experience and her memories.
