BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — A monthly program in Bakersfield is giving kids a chance to fly.
The program is called Young Eagles, and it is held on the first Saturday of every month.
Photojournalist Carlos Hernandez tagged along for a ride to experience the skies.
The next Young Eagles rally is scheduled for Aug. 1, with registration closing July 31.
