The Bakersfield Police Department has announced that they're in need of Police Typist Clerks.
According to their announcement the role of a Clerk Typist includes typing case details, completing police reports, receiving and routing messages from local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies and more.
The salary listed for the job is listed as anywhere between $2,510.04 - $3,051.53 a month. The position requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
The Department will also be hosting a Facebook live session where a member from the department will answer questions about the job today at 3:30 p.m. That will be available on the Bakersfield Police Department Facebook page.
