BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — An urn is back in its rightful place Thursday night after it fell into the hands of a local pastor. The story originated in Hanford, where just over two months ago, the urn was stolen out of a car.

On Monday, pastor Angelo Frazier from River Lakes Community Church says the urn turned up on church property.

Pastor Frazier added that there was a note attached to the urn saying, "Please take care of him."

"Immediately when I got it, I felt a huge sense of responsibility to rectify this and find out where this needs to go," said Pastor Frazier.

The urn was not damaged despite how far it had traveled.

After a few days of looking, Pastor Frazier was able to find the family.

Thursday morning, he drove up to Handford and returned the urn himself.
