The Kern County Library expands services, indoor appointments begin Oct. 12

KERN COUNTY, Calif. — Starting Oct. 12, the Kern County Library will expand services with the launch of indoor express appointments and expansion of curbside services at 12 branches across the County.

Express services will allow customers to visit in-person for a 30-minute appointment with a specified purpose.

Customers can make an indoor express appointment via the library’s call center at (661) 868-0701, email at info@kernlibrary.org, or on the library’s website.

The Library’s digital collection, including access to eBooks, eAudiobooks, streaming content, and more remains available for customers across the county at kerncountylibrary.org/elibrary.

Digital library cards can be applied for online and expired cards can be renewed at kerncountylibrary.org/contact.
