BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Deliberations for the Leslie Chance trial are forced to restart after one juror announced that, due to financial hardships, she cannot remain on the jury any longer.

The juror said she would no longer get paid from her work beyond this day. The judge excused the juror and replaced her with an alternate.

This means that deliberations will have to start over again.
