A Powerball ticket with five matching numbers was sold at a gas station in Downtown Bakersfield, according to the California Lottery.
The ticket was reportedly sold at the Mobil gas station on 19th Street and Union Avenue.

The Powerball numbers are 8-12-13-19-27, with a Powerball number of 4. The California Lottery site says two tickets with five matching numbers in California (one in Highland and one in Bakersfield) and the prize amount is $2,523,172; however, the Powerball site says tickets with five matching numbers are worth a prize amount of $1 million.
At this time, it's unclear how much the ticket sold in Bakersfield is worth. Meanwhile, winning tickets for the jackpot prize were reportedly sold in Iowa and New York.
