More than 400 customers without power in East Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — More than 400 customers are still without power in East Bakersfield.

According to PG&E's website, it happened around 8:44 p.m. on Friday.

The outage impacted customers between Oswell Street and Fairfax Road, just south of College Avenue and north of Edison Highway.

It was originally impacting more than 1,400 customers.

According to PG&E, the outage appears to have been caused by an equipment issue. Restoration is expected around 4 a.m.
