1 arrested, 1 critical in attempted homicide

Bakersfield police officials arrested a man in an attempted homicide case early Saturday morning. 

BPD officials said they responded to a reported victim of a stabbing in the 10700 block of Palm Ave at around 12:50 am.

"Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from major injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he is listed in critical condition," officials said.

3 arrested on attempted murder charges

Officials said that witnesses were able to direct officers to the suspect, identified as Kyle Hulsey, 22, of Bakersfield. 

BPD officials took Hulsey into custody without incident and later booked him into the Kern County Sheriff’s Main Jail on charges of attempted murder.
