SHAFTER, Calif. — One person is dead following a crash in Shafter on Friday morning.
According to the Shafter Police Department, a report of a crash came in around 4:22 a.m. around Santa Fe Way and Burbank Street.
When officers arrived, they discovered a vehicle had rolled over. Two people were inside of the vehicle.
One person was killed in the crash. The other is being questioned by Shafter PD.
Shafter Police officials tell 23ABC that the crash was DUI-related. Officials would not comment regarding who was under the influence.
Police are shutting down Galpin Street and Burbank Street.
