$10K reward offered after Lake Isabella post office burglarized on Christmas Day

LAKE ISABELLA, Calif. — The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information related to the Christmas Day burglary of the Lake Isabella post office, according to a flyer uploaded to social media.

The facility, which is located at 6441 Lake Isabella Blvd., was burglarized on Dec. 25 at approximately 12:42 a.m., according to the flyer.

Several packages and mail were reportedly taken during the burglary.

“The burglary of a post office is a federal crime, with a potential penalty of up to 5 years in federal prison,” the flyer read.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at 1-877-876-2455. All information will be kept confidential.
