More than 120 people will become United States citizens during a ceremony in Bakersfield on Thursday.
The ceremony will be held at Beale Library at 1 p.m.
Bakersfield Congressman and House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy will be the keynote speaker at the event.
The ceremony is part of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services' annual celebration of Constitution Day and Citizenship Day.
As part of Constitution Week, running from Sept. 17-23, there will be more than 200 naturalization ceremonies across the country where more than 30,000 people will become citizens.
