BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On September 3 at 6 p.m., CASA of Kern County will hold a drive-thru Graduation Ceremony celebrating 15 new Court Appointed Special Advocates.

This celebration is following the official swearing-in by The Honorable Judge Raymonda Marquez and Executive Director, Amy Travis.

These community members will work with CASA of Kern County to advocate for children and families who are involved in the foster care system.

“We’re so excited to have this new class join our team of volunteers,” said Amy Travis, Executive Director of CASA of Kern County. “I know that they will do amazing work that will positively impact children and families right here in our community.”

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer at CASA of Kern County, can find our September Orientation schedule on our website at www.kerncasa.org.
