It seems a high schooler in California in 1993 may have predicted the Chicago Cubs' success this year.

Former classmate Marcos Meza posted a video to Facebook as proof of the 1993 prediction in the Mission Viejo High School yearbook.

In the video, Meza displays the cover and spine of the yearbook, then flips to a page with classmate Mike Lee's picture.

Under Lee's picture is the quote, "Chicago Cubs 2016 World Champions. You heard it here first."

Lee and his brother David currently live in Chicago, Meza said.

"Way to call it Mike," Meza said in the video. "You heard it here second. Mike called it first."
