Four children and two adults were in critical condition following a collision on the 5 Freeway traveling southbound, officials said.
The collision happened just before 1:30 p.m. near the Smokey Bear Road Exit in the Gorman area between a Toyota Prius and a Jeep, according to the CHP.
One vehicle flipped over on the highway with people trapped inside, officials said.
