Two people are recovering in the hospital this morning, following a vehicle rollover in South Bakersfield.
The CHP reports that the driver of the car was traveling northbound on Taft Highway and S. H Street, just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday night, when he passed out.
CHP officers report that the driver recently had gastric bypass surgery, but it is unknown at this time whether or not that played a factor.
The passenger of the car tried to correct the wheel, but was not successful.
She suffered a fractured wrist, while the driver suffered minor injuries.
Both are expected to be okay.
