BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Here's your chance to become Bakersfield royalty. Orientation for the 2020 Bakersfield Pageant is Monday October 7th, at 6 p.m.

This will be the 26th year the Bakersfield Pageant has crowned a new set of Bakersfield queens. There are three categories of title holders, Miss Teen Bakersfield (14 years old to 17 years old), Miss Bakersfield (non-married 18 years old to 25 years old) and Mrs. Bakersfield (married 23 years old and older).

On Monday, the Westchester Event Center, at 2801 F Street in Central Bakersfield, will host orientation to introduce the title-holder hopefuls to the then the four rehearsals leading up to the pageant.

The rehearsals will be held on four consecutive Mondays, October 14th, October 21st, October 28th and November 4th. All rehearsals will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. unless otherwise said. There will be a dress rehearsal on Friday November 8th, then the pageant will be held Saturday November 9th at Bridge Bible Church at 12225 Stockdale Highway in Bakersfield.
