Kern County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man in connection with a shooting in East Bakersfield.

Jose Pena, 21, was arrested by deputies for his role in the shooting in the 1700 block of Quincy Street. 

The shooting was reported at 2:45 Monday morning. A man was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Kern Medical.
