BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Agha Haider joined 23ABC's Danielle Kernkamp to discuss his summer literacy program, what its about, what services are provided and how the program can help students this summer.

Haider, the founder of the Literacy Initiative, says his program is for all students. The only change they've had to make was making this program available online.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, students all over the county lost classroom time, Haider aims to aid that disadvantage with his literacy program.
