23ABC received a news tip from a woman saying two men came to her door and said they worked for Vivint.

She was concerned about whether or not they were actual employees.

23ABC contacted Vivint and ADT for tips on how to identify whether or not someone actually works for their companies. 

To verify if someone is an employee at Vivint, ask for their badge number and click here. 

To report someone posing as a Vivint worker call 1-866-870-2268.

To verify if someone is an employee at ADT ask for their badge number and call 1-800-ADT-ASAP.
