23ABC News anchor Jackie Parks read to Mrs. Homestead's 5th grade class at Christa McAuliffe Elementary during their annual Celebrity Reading Day.
Parks read Epossumondas Plays Possum as the students listened intently.
Then she talked with the young people about her career in broadcast news that spans 30 years.
The students asked dozens of questions about the business and what which story she liked the most.
