Local second graders got a lesson in weather education from the 23ABC weather team Wednesday morning.

Chief Meteorologist Elaina Rusk, Meterologist Adam Bowles and weather anchor Leah Pezzetti visited Pauly Elementary School in south Bakersfield to talk about weather and atmospheric science.

The 23ABC weather team visited Ms. Luna's second grade class where they talked about the water cycle and were shown demonstrations of what hail can look like.

The team also touched on how science is what helps them prepare for their weather reports every night.
