24 people arrested during multi-agency sweep focused on out of custody people with search terms

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - On Saturday a multi-agency sweep took place throughout Kern County where 24 people on out of custody supervision were arrested.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office, Bakersfield Police Department, Kern County Probation Department, Arvin Police Department, Cal City Police Department, Ridgecrest Police Department, and Taft Police Department participated in the operation focused on the supervision of out of custody people with search terms.

During the searches officers found two firearms, drugs and numerous people violating the terms of their release.

Out of the 24 arrests made, nine are facing felony charges.
