BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A 25-year-old man has been identified as the victim in a South Bakersfield homicide.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, around 11:19 p.m. on Monday, officers were called out to the 1600 block of Wilson Road near South H Street for reports of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they found 25-year-old William James Robinson of Bakersfield suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Kern Medical, where he died from his injuries.
An examination was performed and the coroner determined the cause of death is multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death is homicide.
