281 pounds of marijuana seized from three Oildale marijuana dispensaries

KCSO seized 281 pounds of marijuana after executing search warrants on three Oildale marijuana dispensaries. 

On September 28, members of the KCSO narcotics unit executed search warrants on BMC dispensary, Green Frog dispensary, and Kush King dispensary in Oildale.  During the execution of the warrants, 281.5 pounds of marijuana, over 1,000 packages of marijuana edibles, and over 17,000 grams of marijuana concentrates were seized. 43 marijuana plants, one firearm, and over $45,000 in currency were also found. 

60-year-old Jeffrey Ross was arrested for misdemeanor marijuana sales and county ordinance violations. He was arrested, cited, and then released. He also faces felony violation of maintaining a place for the purposes of sales pending review of the Kern County District Attorney's office. 

50-year-old Patrick Murphy was arrested for felony charge of maintaining a place for the purposes of sales, felony conspiracy, misdemeanor marijuana sales, misdemeanor employing individuals under the age of 21, and misdemeanor county ordinance violations. 

37-year-old Enrique Lizarra Jr., 27-year-old Jerry Raney, and 27-year-old Carlos Villanueva were arrested for misdemeanor marijuana sales and county ordinance violations. All three were arrested, cited, and released.
