The 28th annual Lake Isabella Fishing Derby is kicking off Saturday morning.
There are several competitions happening throughout the derby that participants can win prizes.
There will be 10 daily winners for the Blind Bogey. Each angler can bring in one trout of any size per day (Saturday, Sunday & Monday) to qualify for the Bling Bogey. A total of 10 prizes for $100 each will be drawn each day. A total of $1,000 per day will be given away.
If you are not eligible for one of the Five Longest Trout but your trout is within one inch from 5th place on the leader boad, you will have a chance to draw for $100 from the Bobber Bowl.
There is also a 50/50 Lake Trout Lotto. It costs $5 to be entered and participants guess the length of the longest trout that will qualify for the leader board during the three-day derby. The person closest without going over will win one half of the money collected from the entries.
