The streets of downtown Bakersfield wil be draped with red, white and blue this Fourth of July as the 30th Annual Westchester Parade draws out crowds.
The parade stars Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. at 22nd and Elm Streets. It will head down 22nd Street before turning south on B Street and East on 20th Street. The procession will come to an end at 20th and Elm Streets.
There will be games and water fun for the whole family to enjoy. Organizers inviting guests to bring squirt guns and water toys to beat the heat. They say, if you come, don't be afraid to get wet.
