A 3.1 magnitude earthquake has struck the area near Gorman at around 12:41 p.m., according to the USGS. 

The quake happened approximately 4.3 miles northwest of Gorman and just 2 miles west-northwest of Lebec. 

No damages or injuries have been reported.
