A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck just south of Ridgecrest on Saturday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake's epicenter was about 5 miles west-northwest of Johannesburg in Kern County; it happened at around 5 p.m.

There have been no reports of injuries or damage.
