Seven people were displaced following an apartment fire Monday morning.

According to Bakersfield Fire officials, the electrical blaze gutted the entire unit, located in the area of Laborough and Gosford.

Fire officials say three families were living in the home. 

The fire caused about $100,000 of damage.
