It was a championship weekend on the diamond for a handful of Kern County high school teams.
The CIF Central Section held its championship games Friday and Saturday with four teams from Kern County walking away with titles.
In baseball, Stockdale beat Clovis West 6-0 to win the Division I championship. In Division III, Garces beat Immanuel 5-3. Arvin narrowly lost 4-2 to Liberty of Madera in the Division V championship.

In softball, Kern County schools squared off in each of the Division V and Division VI championships.
In Division V, Kern Valley High beat Highland 2-1.

In Division VI, Bakersfield Christian got past Frazier Mountain 10-7 to claim the title.
