A mother and her two children were taken to the hospital after they were involved in a crash in Southwest Bakersfield involving five vehicles.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the cars collided in the area of Panama Lane and Old River Road just before 7:30 Thursday morning.
Police say one vehicle failed to stop, hitting another, leading to a chain reaction.
The extent of the injuries suffered by the mother and her two children is not known.
