USGS said a 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck off the Humboldt County coast Friday.

The earthquake hit about 126 miles west of Ferndale just before 1:00 p.m.

There were no reports of injuries or damage.

The National Weather Service said there is no tsunami threat.
