Six rooms at the Manila Inn were completely burned due to a fire early Monday morning.

Bakersfield Firefighters are mopping up the scene at the Manila Inn in the 500 block of Union Avenue, after units on the second floor went up in flames just before 4:30 a.m.

Six rooms on the second level were damaged due to fire and another six on the first level were damaged due to water. 

Fire officials say about 20 people were staying at the hotel at the time of the fire. 

No one was injured.

Right now arson investigators are trying to find out what caused the blaze.
