A 6-year-old and a 28-year-old were shot in McFarland late Saturday night.
At about 10:31 p.m., McFarland police officers were were sent to the 700 block of 3rd Street regarding a shooting that had just taken place.
Officers said they found two victims, a 28-year-old male adult and a 6-year-old male juvenile.
There were multiple shell casings found at the scene from two separate caliber firearms.
Both victims were taken to Kern Medical with moderate injuries.
The names of both victims are not being released at this time.
