BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office has released the name of a 63-year-old man killed in an accident last Thursday, August 8th.

KCSO officials say 63-year-old Harvey Akio Taira was driving his vehicle when he collided head on with another vehicle. Officials say Taira died from multiple blunt force injuries. They say his death was an accident.
