The Kernville Chamber of Commerce announced Monday that the 64th Annual Whiskey Flat Days has been canceled after the event was unable to obtain county permits.

The annual event usually takes place over a four-day period on President Day Weekend, bringing hundreds to Kernville. Those in attendance are transported back to the wild west with rodeos, carnival rides and more.

There is no word yet about when the next Whiskey Flat Days event will take place but Sky Rocket Jami, Mayor of Whiskey Flat Days 2020, said there will be more information coming soon about ways for people to support the event.
