BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — This week 75 people will gather to celebrate becoming a United States citizen.
This Friday, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will join with the Beale Memorial Library to swear in 75 local immigrants as citizens of the United States. The people have gone through the process of naturalization and completed every step.
The naturalization ceremony will happen Friday at 1 p.m. at the Beale Memorial Library on Truxtun Avenue.
