Officials with the Kern County Public Health Department confirms a seventh case of the West Nile Virus in Kern County on Friday.
The seventh confirmed human case is a 85-year-old man from Northwest Bakersfield.
The man was hospitalized but its now recovering and discharged.
This comes on the same day officials confirmed the first West Nile Death in the county.
