The Kern County Fair hosts many exhibits displaying projects that people put together during the summer.
9-year-old Elijah Stevenson worked on a dinosaur exhibit that he put together alongside his mom and grandparents.
Elijah has a collection of over 100 dinosaurs and his mom Nerissa says he has loved them since he was a toddler.
“ One of the beautiful things is that because Elijah has loved dinosaurs so much, since he was 2 years old. I honed that, and even before he was 4 years old he can name over 30 dinosaurs,” said Nerissa.
Elijah got first place for his exhibit and it will be at the Kern County Fair until Sunday, September 30th.
