BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A major highway here in Bakersfield will be closed early next week for road work. On Monday the 99 will be closed near the 58 junction for a concrete pour.
The closure will take place from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.
During the closure drivers will be detoured onto eastbound 58 to Union Avenue \where they will return to the 99.
Officials say the closure could extend to Tuesday if time is needed to remove equipment.
